President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has today visited a new building of the comprehensive school No1 named after Mirza Alakbar Sabir in Sabirabad District.
The Azerbaijani President viewed a photo stand reflecting previous look of the school.
Photo stands reflecting activities of national leader Heydar Aliyev, President Ilham Aliyev, as well as the Heydar Aliyev Foundation in terms of development of education in the country were installed in the school.
The Head of State was informed that all conditions had been created here.
The 1,200-seat school occupies a total area of 9,415 square meters. A bust to Mirza Alakbar Sabir was erected in the yard of the facility. The four-storey school has 109 rooms, including 68 classrooms, a sports hall, a canteen, a 280-seat conference hall, and a sports ground.
President Ilham Aliyev praised the conditions created at the school.
