Azerbaijani oppositional party Musavat has made an official statement regarding its exit from the National Council.

Musavat party put forward proposals for conclusion of cooperation agreements with real political forces in Azerbaijan, discussing with them effective ways of interaction both within the National Council and outside of it in line with new political conditions, according to the party's official statement made on Jan. 7.

Given all this, the Divan of the Musavat party does not consider the party members' further participation in the National Council's activities as reasonable, according to the statement.
