Riga Summit reaffirmed EU's commitment to Eastern Partnership, EU Commissioner for European Neighbourhood Policy and Enlargement Johannes Hahn wrote in his Twitter account.

Eastern Partnership is a program of the European Union, aimed at the development of the EU integration relations with six countries, namely, Azerbaijan, Ukraine, Moldova, Armenia, Georgia and Belarus.
In October 2014, the European Parliament approved the new composition of the European Commission. Starting from November 1, Austrian politician Johannes Hahn succeeded Stefan Fule at the post of European Commissioner for European Neighbourhood and Enlargement Negotiations.
