An official visit of the Azerbaijani delegation headed by the Defense Minister, Colonel General Zakir Hasanov to Kyrgyzstan started on June 1, the message of the Defense Ministry of Azerbaijan said June 1.
During the visit, representatives of the Azerbaijani delegation visited the memorial complex "Eternal Flame" in Victory Square in Bishkek, after which the official ceremony of meeting Zakir Hasanov by Minister of Defense of Kyrgyzstan Abibilla Kudaiberdiev took place.
During the meeting held with the participation of representatives of both sides, the importance of negotiations and meetings held between Azerbaijan and Kyrgyzstan was stressed, special attention was paid to the development of cooperation between the two countries in the defense field, in the spheres of exchange of experience and staff training.
During the visit, representatives of the Azerbaijani delegation visited the Combat Training Centre of the Armed Forces of Kyrgyzstan.
The visit of the Azerbaijani delegation to Kyrgyzstan will last until June 2.
