Azerbaijan's President Ilham Aliyev signed a decree March 10 to appoint Rufat Aslanli as head of the Board of Directors of the country's Financial Market Supervisory Body.
Previously, Aslanli was appointed the director general of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) in 2006 and was named the deputy head of the board of the CBA in 2007.
Azerbaijan's president signed a decree in November 2008 to appoint Aslanli as head of the State Committee for Securities.
