The next round of consultations between the Azerbaijani and Uzbek foreign ministries was held in Tashkent, the Uzbek Foreign Ministry’s Jahon news agency reported Dec. 21.
Azerbaijani delegation was headed by Jeyhun Shahverdiyev, deputy head of international law and treaties department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
During the consultations held on Dec. 20-21, the parties explored the contractual and legal base of cooperation, exchanged views on the drafts of bilateral documents and discussed the prospects of the development and expansion of the legal base of cooperation.
The sides also exchanged views on the functioning of the foreign ministries’ legal services.
