BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 20. Azerbaijan may impose fines for the activities of foreign parties, Trend reports.
Individuals face a fine in the amount of 700 manat ($411.7) to 1000 manat ($588.2), officials - from 1500 manat ($882.3) to 2000 manat ($1,176), legal entities - from 6000 manat ($3,529) to 8000 manat ($4,705) for the establishment or activity of political parties of foreign states, as well as their subdivisions and organizations on the territory of Azerbaijan.
In this regard, it is proposed to amend the Code of Administrative Offenses.
According to the amendments, officials will be fined from 800 ($470.5) to 1000 manat ($588.2) for accepting foreigners and stateless persons as members of a political party, and legal entities - from 3000 ($1,764) to 5000 manat ($2,941).
