BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 17. A rally was held in Prague to expose Armenia's attempt to turn the international community into a tool of a political, military and information-oriented manipulation campaign, Trend reports.

The rally, which took place in the city center, on 24 Zhelezna Street, where the offices of the UN, UNICEF, the World Health Organization and other international structures are located, was organized by the activist of the Azerbaijani community Farid Amiraliyev

Posters with the inscriptions "Armenia, stop the attacks!", "Armenia, sign a peace treaty!", "Armenia, stop mining our lands!", "Armenia chooses war, not peace", "Armenian mines kill civilians", "Armenian mines = war crimes!", "There should be no Armenian soldiers on Azerbaijani lands!" and other posters were displayed during the campaign.

Furthermore, leaflets describing the military and environmental atrocities Armenia committed against our nation were given to the citizens of the capital who expressed interest in the gathering at which the Azerbaijani mugham was played.

Additionally, a resident of Armenian descent appealed to the Czech police with a demand to stop the rally because they could not accept that the Azerbaijani flag was flying at the rally, Azerbaijani music was playing, posters were being displayed, and brochures outlining Armenia's environmental and military crimes were being distributed. The policeman, however, declined his request and cited the fact that the event was being held in conformity with local law as justification.

The brochures contain information that Armenia's mining of Azerbaijani lands threatens people's lives, the number of mine victims in Azerbaijan reached 303 people in the period after the Second Karabakh War, that Yerevan's refusal to provide mine maps violates human rights, as well as that more than 60,000 hectares of forests were destroyed by Armenians in the Karabakh region of Azerbaijan and other facts.
