BAKU, Azerbaijan, September 27. Administrator of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) Samantha Power has arrived in Azerbaijan.
As USAID's Baku office told Trend, administrator Power is joined by U.S. Department of State Acting Assistant Secretary for Europe and Eurasian Affairs Yuri Kim.
During her visit, Samantha Power will also address the prospects for a durable peace between Azerbaijan and Armenia.
From 1991 onwards, USAID has allocated $431 million toward initiatives aimed at assisting the Azerbaijani population. These programs encompass humanitarian aid, healthcare improvements, and endeavors related to economic and governance reforms.
