BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 13. President Ilham Aliyev has signed a decree "On determining awards for athletes of the Republic of Azerbaijan and their coaches for High Results at the XXXIII Summer Olympic Games in Paris," Trend reports.

According to the decree, the following awards have been set for Azerbaijani athletes and their coaches based on their performance at the XXXIII Summer Olympic Games:

• 400,000 manat ($235,294) for each athlete who won first place, and 200,000 manat ($117,647) for their coach.
• 200,000 manat ($117,647) for each athlete who won second place, and 100,000 manat ($58,823) for their coach.
• 100,000 manat ($58,823) for each athlete who won third place, and 50,000 manat ($29,411) for their coach.

The Cabinet of Ministers of Azerbaijan has been tasked with addressing the issues arising from the decree.

In addition, President of the National Olympic Committee of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, has signed a decree "On establishing rewards for Azerbaijani athletes and their coaches for high achievements at the XXXIII Summer Olympic Games in Paris."

According to the decree, the following rewards are established for Azerbaijani athletes and their coaches based on their results at the Olympics in Paris:

First Place:
- 200,000 manat ($117,647) to each athlete
- 100,000 manat ($58,823) to the coach

Second Place:
- 100,000 manat ($58,823) to each athlete
- 50,000 manat ($29,411) to the coach

Third Place:
- 50,000 manat ($29,411) to each athlete
- 25,000 manat ($14,705) to the coach

4. Head Coach of the Team:
- An amount equal to the reward given to the personal coach of the athlete with the highest result (one-time payment).

The Finance Department of the National Olympic Committee of Azerbaijan is tasked with overseeing the distribution of the rewards.
