BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 15. President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has signed a decree on the appointment of several judges and chairpersons for appeal and first-instance courts in Azerbaijan, Trend reports.
According to the decree, based on Articles 94 and 97 of the Law on "Courts and Judges" of Azerbaijan, the following appointments have been made:
For appeal courts:
1.1. Mushfig Hasanov has been appointed as the Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Court of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic.
1.2. Mehman Allahverdiyev has been appointed as the Chairman of the Civil Board of the Supreme Court of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic.
1.3. Alizamin Abdullayev has been appointed as the Chairman of the Criminal Board of the Ganja Appeal Court.
1.4. Elchin Mehdiyev has been appointed as the Chairman of the Civil Board of the Shaki Appeal Court.
For administrative courts:
1.5. Hijran Muradov has been appointed as the Chairman of the Administrative Court of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic.
For district (city) courts in Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic:
1.6. Gunay Ismayil has been appointed as the Chairperson of Babak District Court of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic.
For district courts of Baku city:
1.7. Sheyda Maharramova has been dismissed from the post of judge and chairperson of Khazar District Court and appointed as judge and chairperson of Binagadi District Court of Baku.
1.8. Abbas Rzayev has been dismissed from the post of judge of Binagadi District Court and appointed as judge and chairperson of Khazar District Court of Baku.
1.9. Khayal Sariyev has been appointed as judge and chairperson of the Garadagh District Court of Baku.
1.10. Azer Pashayev has been dismissed from the post of judge and chairperson of Garadagh District Court and appointed as judge and chairperson of Sabail District Court of Baku.
1.11. Elbay Allahverdiyev has been appointed as judge of the Khazar District Court of Baku.
For district (city) courts:
1.12. Farid Ayyubov has been appointed as judge and chairperson of Absheron District Court.
1.13. Natig Abbasov has been appointed as chairperson of Aghstafa District Court.
1.14. Elmir Huseynov has been dismissed from the post of judge of Sumgayit City Court and appointed as judge and chairperson of Fuzuli District Court.
1.15. Marif Kazimov has been dismissed from the post of judge of Gadabay District Court and appointed as judge and chairperson of Kurdamir District Court.
1.16. Ruslan Alizade has been appointed as chairperson of Yevlakh District Court.
1.17. Gulsara Imanova has been appointed as chairperson of Zangilan District Court.
1.18. Elshad Aliyev has been appointed as judge of Sumgayit City Court.
1.19. Elchin Kazimov has been dismissed from the post of judge and chairperson of Absheron District Court and appointed as judge of Sumgayit City Court.
2. This decree shall come into effect on the date of signing.
