In July foreign trade turnover reduced. The monthly foreign trade balance became red.

The foreign trade turnover comprised $4.18bn.

The growth pace of export grew 10.83% and comprised $1.61bn.

In this period foreign trade ended with a balance at $0.96bn in red. Export of products grew in every category except crude oil and raw cotton.

Over the first 7 months of 2005 crude export reduced 38.25% following cur in SOCAR export volumes via the Baku-Novorossiysk route. In this period the SOCAR shipped 990,500 tons of Ural oil from the Novorossiysk port, or 500,500 tons down as compared to 2004. Raw cotton export dropped 14.89%.
