The head of the state structuring legislation department of the Milli Mejlis (MM) administration Latif Huseynov left for Germany. Huseynov, as member of the special committee on averting tortures of the Council of Europe (CE) will stay in Germany on a visit as the CE mission member, MM told Trend.
The delegation will attend police stations in a number of cities of Germany, investigation jails and prisons, monitor the conditions under which the inmates are kept, their conformity with the European standards. After the monitoring the experts will draw up a final document.
Huseynov will come to Baku on 2 December.
