The chairman of the Central Election Commission (CEC) of Azerbaijan met on 22 November with the special representative of the European Union for South Caucasus Heikki Talvitie, CEC told Trend.
The parliamentary elections in Azerbaijan on 6 November were discussed at the meeting. The CEC chairman informed the guest of the results of the elections, of the work done by CEC for holding the elections, of the struture’s activities. He also responded to the questions of Talvitie.
Heikki Talvitie assessed highly new methods applied at the elections вЂ" the use of the voters’ finger inking, conducting of exit-polls on the voting day.
