Many political forces of Ukraine estimate the recent parliamentary elections in Azerbaijan as normal and support the will of the Azerbaijani authorities on the cancellation of some negative facts, fixed while voting, Sabuhi Temirov, an adviser of the Azerbaijani embassy in Kiev told Trend. He was commenting on calls by the Ukrainian political movement Pora to the United States and the EU member-states not to recognize the results of elections in Azerbaijan and their intention to picket in front of the Azerbaijani embassy in Kiev as sign of protest.
According to diplomat, if anyone wants to boost some negative facts fixed during the elections in Azerbaijan, this is their own business. “Ukraine well understands the political developments in Azerbaijan and estimate the positively,” he underlined.
Touching upon an intention of Pora on holding pickets in front of the Azerbaijani embassy in Kiev, Temirov said that it was a �business’ of the company. Some 10-15 young people will gather, wave flags and disperse,” the Azerbaijani diplomat stressed.
