“Several more Azerbaijani peace-makers, dispatched to Afghanistan, Kosovo and Iraq, completed their military service. The soldiers prepare to repatriate,” Ilgar Verdiyev, the employee of the press service of the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry, told Trend.

“The number of the peace-makers dispatched to the foreign countries comprises 30. They are soldiers called to military service during the conscription carried out 4 times in a year. They serve not in the motherland, but in the crisis areas. Some peace-makers completing military service in January will be replaced by new conscripts,” Verdiyev stressed.
