The Azerbaijan’s Year in Russia will be over with performance of �Love and Death’ ballet by Polad Bul-Bul oglu, the Azerbaijani Culture Minister, the Ministry told Trend.
The closing ceremony is scheduled for 26 December. The ballet will be put on the stage of Bolshoy Theatre with the participation of the State Symphonic Orchestra, the State Opera and Ballet Theatre, and the State Dance Ensemble, the Ministry stressed. The ballet was written on motives of Kitabi-Dada Gorgud epos.
Attending the ceremony are expected to be Russian officials, particularly, Prime Minister Mikhail Fradkov, members of the government, as well as representatives of political and public circles of the country.
