The parties entered the Democratic Azerbaijan block plan to establish a new block, Hajibala Azimov, the former co-chairman of the block, present chairman of the National
Unity of United Azerbaijan Party, told Trend.
He noted that the Democratic Azerbaijan bloc dissolved after the 6 November parliamentary elections would be restored, but the parties entered the block in association with others put forward initiative on establishment of new political block.
According to Azimov, they hold negotiations with some parties in this regard. The National Unity of United Azerbaijan Party, Adalat (Justice) Party and Azadlyg (Freedom) Party will be able to enter the block. We would like the Popular Front of Azerbaijan Party (classics), Vahdat (Unity) Party, Great Azerbaijan Party, Social Justice Party and Liberal-Democratic Party to join us. The reason for giving preference to these parties is preservation of opposition image by them, Azimov underlined.
