Mandate of Azeri MPs at PACE confirmed without any conditions MP Samadov
Mandate of the Azerbaijani parliamentary delegation at the PACE was confirmed without any conditions, MP Samad Seyidov, the head of the Azerbaijani parliamentary delegation at the PACE told Trend in an exclusive interview.
Concerned on the reports which urge that the mandate was adopted for the period by June Seyidov said that after the meeting of the Monitoring Committee the issue on mandate was put for motion. The mandate was adopted with the majority of votes. There was not put any condition, he stressed. The same time a resolution adopted in this respect contain some recommendations, which call Azerbaijan to pay more attention to democratic reforms, conduct by-elections scheduled for May in high level.
Seyidov said that the report on Nagorno-Karabakh conflict by Lord Russel Johnston had been included in the CE reports and no hearings in this respect was expected during the PACE winter session.
