Cooperation agreement signed between Azerbaijan National Democratic Party (ANDP) and Popular Front of Azerbaijan Party (PFPA- reformers) has lost its validity, the ANDP chairman, Iskender Hamidov, told Trend.
Hamidov stressed, that this decision was reasoned by the fact that PFPA (r) leadership failed to perform regulations identified in the document. We had an agreement to put forward a single candidate for the parliamentary elections of 2005 and presidential elections of 2008. However, presentation of Ali Kerimli in Azadlyg block on the elections eve has destroyed the agreement we had, he noted.
The ANDP chairman also added, that this problem was discussed at the party`s Political Council and a decision was made to send a letter to opposite party, considering that the agreement has lost its strength. The question of cooperation between the two parties would be reviewed later, said Hamidov.
