The central headquarters of the United Azerbaijan Movement (UAM) will be established in Europe, Trend reports quoting Faraj Guliyev, the leader of the National Revival Movement.
Establishment of the movement has been announced at the event with the participation of Aliyar Safarli, the Azerbaijani Ambassador to Iran, Firudin Jalilov, the Ex-Minister of Education, Ulvi Hakim, the head of the Way of United Azerbaijan organization, and MP
Agil Samadbayli on Monday.
Guliyev noted the Azerbaijani Diaspora needed aid of the Azerbaijani government, as organization process was very weak in North Azerbaijan. We held talks with the culture centers in Turkey, Diaspora organizations in Europe, heads of the political bodies of Sweden, Holland and the USA. Our goal is to form UAM abroad. No considerable attention is attached to the issue in the country, Guliyev stressed.
Guliyev also noted that he held negotiations with Rahim Shahbazi, the representative of the Azerbaijani Diaspora in the USA. We intend to establish the central headquarters of UAM in one of the European countries, Guliyev underlined.
