Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev signed a decree on regulations, structure and staff of the Ministry of Industry and Energy, Trend reports.
In accordance with the decree, the sate government on gas control of Azerigas closed joint-stock company is given to the disposal of the Ministry of Industry and Energy. Expenses for this organizations activities in 2006 will be covered by Azerigas, while from 2007 public budget. The staff of the employees of the newly established Ministry was set as 180 people.
The Cabinet of Ministers is committed to prepare and present to the President in a month proposals concerning the unification of existing standard acts in line with the decree.
Along with the state government on gas control, the structure of the Ministry will also include state government on energy control.
