If my chairmanship to the Assembly of Musavat party has a positive impact on the development of the party, in this case, I will put forward my candidature, Arif Hajili, the deputy chairman of the Musavat party, told Trend.
Hajili noted that in accordance with the regulation, after being appointed as a deputy chairman, it should be submitted to the Assembly for the confirmation. Hajili pointed out that appointing the number of the deputy chairmen is in the disposal of the Assembly. At the moment, the party leader has 7-8 deputy chairmen. This number may be decreased. However, until the confirmation, we fulfill our responsibilities, told Hajili.
The official representative of Musavat touched up on the election procedures of the chairman of the Assembly. He stressed that each member of the Assembly may put forward his/her candidature. The chairman himself, as a member of the Assembly, may put forward his/her candidature. The election of the members of the Assembly is held by means of a confidential voting, said Hajili.
Besides, Hajili pointed out that there were held discussion on who will nominate for the chairman of the Assembly. I hold intensive talks with the head of the party and party colleagues. I think that my chairmanship will have a positive impact on the development of the party, I will put forward my candidature, stressed Hajili.
