Cyprus problem, occupation of Azeri territory by Armenia to be Turkey's priority at OIC summit in Baku  Turkish FM

The 33rd meeting of the Organization of Islamic Conference (OIC) will enable the entire Islamic world to get closely familiar with Azerbaijan, Turkish Foreign Minister Abdullah Gul told Trend at the Baku airport.

According to Gul, representatives of several countries Рјfor the first time will visit Azerbaijan, which is important for popularization of Azerbaijan. At the same time the Turkish Foreign Minister stated that the Islamic counties will demonstrate the best model of solidarity during the event.

Speaking about the issue of special importance for Turkey to be discussed at the summit Gul noted that it was first of all the Cyprus problem and the occupation of the Azerbaijani lands by Armenia.

The Turkish FM said that as a result of the 33rd session of the heads of foreign minister of the Organization of Islamic Conference in Baku the chairmanship will shift from Yemen to Azerbaijan and Ankara is ready to render continuous support to Baku under the OIC.
