Georgian prime minister Zurab Nogandeli said this year Georgia will transfer 25mln ton of oil through its territory,Trend reports with reference to PRIME-NEWS.
Mr Nogandeli told journalists Tuesday, В"this oil will be transported in three ways, via BTC, via Baku-Supsa and by railroadВ".
В"South Caucasian Pipeline is commissioned in the end of the year and
Georgia alongside other countries, will get alternative gasВ", - he said.
Talking of BTC pipeline, Georgian official said В"this project is important both for Georgia and Europe as wholeВ".
В"Next year Kazakhstan is joining BTC pipeline to transport 5mt of oil a year at initial stagesВ", - he said.
В"In 2007 the pipeline will be transferring 1mln bbl a day. This amount will make the pipeline an important factor in oil pricingВ", - Nogandeli said.
