Azeri FM leaves for Finland with official visit

On 29 June the Azerbaijani Foreign Minister, Elmar Mammadyarov, will pay an official visit to Finland, the Azerbaijani Foreign Minister told Trend.

The program of the visit envisages meetings with the Finnish President Taria Khalonen, the Minister for Trade and Industry, Maori Pekkarinen, the Foreign Minister Erki Tuomioa, the State Secretary of the Foreign Minister, Perti Torstila, Deputy Secretary of State Markus Pelira, head adviser of Nokia corporation, Miko Khaikonen.

The key objective of the visit is to discuss the existing level of interaction between Azerbaijan and Finland, interaction of Azerbaijan with the European and Euro-Atlantic bodies, including the program on European Neighborhood Program and under the NATOs Partnership for Peace.

The visit will last by 1 July.
