Professor Nargiz Pashayeva, the Director of ГњNS and head of the Theater Project, told Trend that following the opening of a new theater season, ГњNS Theater will invite the theater groups to Baku in October 2006.
She noted that the opening of the theatre season will be held on 10 October. Performance by theater groups of different countries, as well as meetings with renowned persons will be held at ГњNS. The Director of the Theater promises a very interesting program for this season.
It is planned to have meetings with different people and organize classic-style concerts. Furthermore, the theater can tour to different foreign countries, including Israel, Russia, and the United States, depending on finances. In 2006 the Theater hopes perform in one of the foreign countries and we will do our best to ensure that this happens, Pashayeva stated.
A solemn opening ceremony of ГњNS Theater was held on 22 April 2006 with the participation of the Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev.
