The Azerbaijan SME Support through Financial Sector Development Project, supported by the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) and implemented by ACDI/VOCA will hold a half-day workshop on USAID's Development Credit Authority (DCA) Guarantee Program at the International Press Center September 20,Trend reports.
The aim of the workshop is to introduce the DCA Program, and discuss its possible use in Azerbaijan. This workshop is intended for senior members of banks and non-banks.
USAID is particularly interested in providing guarantees where the following objectives may be met, increasing lending to small and rural businesses, development of new methods or sources of financing, improved technical capacity within financial sector and utilization of the USAID TA Project resources.
