The takeover process of assets of Barmek Holding to the Joint Stock Companies Baku Electric Network and Sumgait Electric Network is coming to an end, Trend reports.
As intended in the contract it is the civil process of the takeover as much as the investor should submit the documentation of employees, electric networks, equipments and accounting documents, the Deputy Economic Development Minister of Azerbaijan, Mikail Jabarov stated.
According to him, by the end of the week it is planned to complete the transaction so as to cause minimal disruption for the population, clients of the electric networks and energy supply of the country. The Government controls the situation, therefore, there should not be any negative factors, the Deputy Minister stated.
The electric networks are in full ownership of the State, and therefore future investment plans for their development will be carried out after studying the proposals and conditions, Jabarov said.
