Discussing the upgrades to the Law on Freedom of Assembly in Azerbaijan is planned to take place in Strasbourg on December 6-7, Alan Shable, the Secretary of the Venice Commission of the Council of Europe exclusively informed Trend.
Azerbaijan will be represented in the meeting by Fuad Aleskerov, Shahin Aliyev and Chingiz Askerov, members of the Presidential Administration. According to Shable, the sides will discuss the draft amendments to the 1998 Law on Freedom of Assembly. The OSCE Office Baku will be represented too.
