The Chairman of the State Committee for Work with Azerbaijani Residing Abroad, Nazim Ibrahimov, exclusively informed Trend that Diaspora organizations of Azerbaijan functioning in various countries of the world will mark December 31 as the Solidarity Day of Azerbaijan.
He said that Diaspora organizations of Azerbaijan held various measures each year. There is no place in the world where Azerbaijanis do not mark the Solidarity Day of Azerbaijan. Various measures are organized in all countries and the Azerbaijanis solemnly celebrate the Solidarity Day of World Azerbaijanis. This year, the Solidarity Day will also be celebrated, Ibrahimov said.
He said that he will not be able to participate in the events held abroad. But the State Committee supports the Diaspora organizations.
