Opposition party Umud postponed the rally scheduled for January 13, 2007, a source in the Party told Trend.
Umud Party headed by MP Igbal Aghazadeh, had plans to hold a rally as a sign of protest against the recent advance in prices in the country at the square in front of the Narimanov Cinema at 15:00 p. m. on January 13. Taking into consideration the position of President Ilham Aliyev that the decision on the advance in the prices was incorrect and untimely, the rally has been postponed to an uncertain date. The information that the Azerbaijan President suggested reviewing the decision on the recent advance in prices have been spread in some newspapers today.
