Azerbaijan, Baku / corr. Trend S.Ilhamgizi / The Deputy Foreign Minister of Azerbaijan, Khalaf Khalafov, said that Iran apologized for violating the air borders of Azerbaijan with the civil helicopters of the President of Iran, Mahmud Ahmadnejat, at the end of last month, ATV Channel reports.
He stated that it was not intentional. Khalafov expressed Azerbaijan's dissatisfaction in Tehran during his recent visit to Iran. Iran expressed its regret for the incident saying that it was a random error.
