Aghayeva / The spokesman to the Azerbaijani Ministry of Youth and Sports, Ragif Abbasov, reported on 1 May, that the Minister of Youth and Sports of Azerbaijan, Azad Rahimov, was on his visit to Saudi Arabia. The issues of extension of cooperation in youth policy and sports will be discussed during the visit.
According to Abbasov, the Minister is expected to meet with the director of the Department at the Saudi Arabia Kingdom, prince Bin Feysal Bin Abdulaziz, and consider the cooperation between the countries and participation of Azerbaijani sportsmen in the competitions held in Saudi Arabia and vice versa. The Minister is taking part in the sitting of the Ministers of Youth of Islamic countries held on 1-2 May in the country.
The issues of cooperation between Islamic countries in youth policy and sports will be discussed at the summit.
