Azerbaijan, Baku / corr Trend S.Agayeva / Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and the King of Spain Juan Carlos will exchange official visits in the near future. The issue will be discussed during the forthcoming visit of the Spanish Foreign Minister, Miguel Angel Moratinos, to Baku on 4-5 June.
The first secretary of the Azerbaijani embassy in Spain, Anar Maharramov, announced on 8 May by telephone that during the meetings with the Azerbaijani President Aliyev and Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov, the Spanish foreign minister will present them with an invitation to pay an official visit to Spain.
According to Maharramov, this visit will promote the development of bilateral relationships. The discussions in Baku will cover a wide range of issues ranging from political to humanitarian sectors. The dates of visits will be confirmed later through diplomatic channels, he added.
