Azerbaijan, Baku / Trend corr. I.Alizadeh / MP Siyavush Novruzov , the deputy executive secretary of the ruling New Azerbaijan Party (NAP), stated on the 6th of June that the Party would hold a series of events, dedicated to the National Salvation Day on the 15th of June.
Novruzov noted that the direction of the party would visit the grave of the former Azerbaijani President, Heydar Aliyev in the Cemetery of Honours.
The meeting of the ideological followers of the former President will be held in participation of the direction of the political structure, the chairmen of the regional and city branches, the heads of the Executive Administration of the political organization from the head quarters of the NAP.
"The presentation of the Vershina book of the Turkish author, issued in Turkey and dedicated to the life of Heydar Aliyev, will be held," MP added.
The National Salvation Day will be celebrated at all the regional and city branches of the party.
The National Salvation Day 15th of June is celebrated as the coming back of the former Azerbaijani President, Heydar Aliyev from the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic to Baku in 1993.
In this period Heydar Aliyev was MP of the Parliament of Nakhchivan.
NAP was founded by the former Azerbaijani President, Heydar Aliyev, in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic of Azerbaijan in 1992. The Azerbaijani President, Ilham Aliyev has been the chairman of the party for 14 years.
