Ukraine, Kiev / special corr Trend E Huseynov /Ukrainian President Victor Yuschenko is satisfied with the dynamic that Azerbaijan and Ukraine have had over the past 2 years. The Ukrainian President made this statement in an interview for Trend and several Azerbaijani television channels.
"The developments taken place over the past period, particularly, over the past 2 years, represent special page. We brought together the political positions and became allies in key international issues. Our bilateral relationships are characterized with openness and confidence. There is no issue which could complicate the current bilateral relations between Ukraine and Azerbaijan," he added.
Yuschenko stated that Azerbaijan and Ukraine have common objectives. "We speak about political, economic and humanitarian issues and see the prospects. The prospects of our bilateral relationships are in the zone of development of pragmatic factors such as the establishment of an energy market and only for mutual relations, but not for the European Union. We are pleased that Azerbaijan is going intensively towards the European integration," he stated.
