Next Meeting of CIS Economic Council to be held in Moscow
The next meeting of the CIS Economic Council will be held in Moscow on 29 June. According to Prime-TASS of the Russian Economic Development Ministry, twelve issues are planned to be discussed at the meeting.
The following issues will be discussed: the draft versions of the protocol on changes and supplements in the Agreement on coordination of inter-state relationships in electric energy of CIS, the protocol on changes in the Agreement on coordinated policy in standardization, metrology, and certification, the protocol on changes in the Agreement on lifting of customs, taxes and issuance of special permissions for conveyance of normative documents, models, measuring tools, and standard samples, transported for examination and metrological certification.
The projects of the Agreement on the council of inter-regional and border cooperation of the CIS countries, the key directions of development of the market of international motor transport services, as well as the reports on transfer of membership fees by the members of the CIS in 2007, are planned to be discussed.
