Emin Agalarov Will Bring New Brands to Baku

Russia, Baku /corr. Trend R.Agayev / One of the most weighty directions of Crocus International in expanding its business in Russia is its exhibition activity, said the Commercial Director of Crocus International, Emin Agalarov.

Previously, the Company was using exhibition activity to sell its products after its crisis to begin the construction of its 'Your House' complex. Now this activity is re-established and already the company has its own exhibition area in the territory of ' Crocus City'.

The exhibition area this year will be increased up to 450,000sq m, including three buildings, of which two already exist and operate and the last one is being constructed.

The Director of the Company showed the trade centres as its key directions. 'Crocus City Mall' already exists and one more Mall is being constructed in Kashirk. Its area will equal 200,000sq m. The Mall in Kashirk will be running in one and a half to two years.

One more business direction of Crocus in Moscow is the boutique business. The Company has nearly seventy boutiques in Moscow.

Touching upon the plans of Crocus International in Azerbaijan, Agalarov said that as of yet the Company does not intend to establish its business in Azerbaijan. The plans so far include establishing big tourism resorts at the level of those seen in Dubai or America. It is a large hotel complex with living accommodations, hotel infrastructure, pools, restaurants, etc. The work will be done by Agalarov's father.

Agalarov's son is engaged in development of a small venue in Nardaran avenue which opens the Crocus brands in Baku. Last year, he opened JLo in Baku. This year, he will open Sergio Rossi, Casadei, Cesaro Paciotti, Celine, and several more brands.
