Azerbaijan, Baku /corr. Trend S.Agayeva / The developmental prospects of co-operation between Azerbaijan and Vietnam will be discussed in Hano at the time of the official visit of the Foreign Minister of Azerbaijan, Elmar Mammadyarov, who is planning to visit Vietnam by the end of year, it was reported in Peking via a telephone conversation with the Ambassador of Azerbaijan to China and Vietnam, Yashar Aliyev on 9 August.
The Ambassador said that the invitation for the visit was presented to the Foreign Minister of Azerbaijan during the visit by the Vietnam's Foreign Ministry delegation to Baku. Aliyev stressed that preparation for the visit was made by the Foreign Ministries of the two countries and bilateral documents are being devised to be signed during the visit. The talks are expected to cover various foreign policy issues of the two countries and prospects of development of economic and humanitarian co-operation.
According to the Ambassador, this year celebrates the 15th anniversary of relations between Azerbaijan and Vietnam. A number of events are planned at that time, the Ambassador said.
