Azerbaijan, Baku / Trend corr. Corr. S.Ilhamgizi / The State Committee on State Property Management must provide the Azadlyg Party of Azerbaijan proper headquarters within ten days as appointed by the decision of the Khatai District Court, Ahmad Oruj, the Chairman of the Party said.
Oruj brought an action suit against the Chairman of the State Committee, Karam Hasanov, after the Committee refused to provide the Azadlyg Party with premises for their headquarters as is the party's legal right.
The hearing was presided over by Judge Shukurov Bahram in the Khatai District Court.
A representative of the Committee, Nasibli Ulvi, noted that the Committee would try to resolve the problem within the next few days.
The hearing will continue on 10 September at 15:00 by the decision of the Court.
The opposition party, Azadlyg, is represented in the Union for Democracy.
