Azerbaijan, Baku, 22 July /Тrend News corr. J.Babayeva/ Azerbaijan State Commission on Student Admission has publicized the results of entrance exams to the 4th group of specialties. The results are placed on www.tqdk.gov.az. A total of 17,164 applicants submitted their documents for the 4th group of specialties. As compared to 2007, this year the number of applicants for this group has dramatically increased (2007/2008 - 13,174; 2006/2007 - 13,163). Azerbaijani higher schools offer 3,459 planned places for 4th group for 2008-2009 academic years. According to State Commission, exams included 15,873 applicants. Thirteen applicants were removed from exam rooms due to violation of regulations. As a result of exams, 4,179 applicants gained the right to participate in competition. Seventy applicants from Russian sector and 13 applicants from Azerbaijani sector scored 650-700 points. |
