Egypt to Expand Cooperation in Education Sphere with Azerbaijan

Azerbaijan, Baku, 6 October / Trend corr. U.Sadikhova / Egypt will expand the cooperation with Azerbaijan in the education sphere.

The Egyptian Government is interested in development of cooperation with Azerbaijan in the sphere of education, Ahmad Bayon Shehab-Addin, Rector of the Egypt based Mansur University, told Trend .

Egyptians show more interest to the Azerbaijani language lately. Egypt is ready to receive Azerbaijani students to universities. The main attention is paid to train specialists in the sphere of oil and gas, humanitarian sciences, cultural investigations and study of languages, said Ahmad Bayon Shehab-Addin.

"At present, ten students from Egypt receive their education in Azerbaijan, and we plan to extend their number," said the rector.

Ahmad Bayon Shehab-Addin represents Egypt at the 4th conference of education ministries and science ISESCO. The conference is held in Baku from 6 to 8 October.
