UN supports Azerbaijani non-governmental organizations (NGOs).
A Memorandum on mutual understanding will be signed between the Council for State Support to NGOs under the Azerbaijani Presidential administration and UN Development Program representative in the country. The agreement was achieved at the meeting with participation of chairman of the Council Azai Guliyev and UN resident-coordinator in Azerbaijan, head of UN Development Program Bruno Puez.
Under the Memorandum, the UN Development Program will render institutional support to the Council to provide productive activity for regional NGOs.
