Hungary shows great interest in expanding the relations in education and in the growing number of Azerbaijani students studying at universities, the Education Ministry said today.
Azerbaijani Education Minister Misir Mardanov made this statement at the meeting with Hungarian Ambassador to Azerbaijan Zsolt Chutora.
Emphasizing the great potential for expanding student exchange, the ambassador said that the lessons are held in the English and Russian languages at the Hungarian universities.
According to the "State program on Azerbaijan youth's education abroad in 2007 -2015", Azerbaijani students can study only at one Hungarian university, Mardanov said.
Highlighting the possibility of including a large number of Hungarian universities in the list, Education Minister emphasized the importance of the work in this direction.
They expressed confidence that the cooperation in the field of education will contribute to the development of comprehensive relations between the two countries.
