Azerbaijani gymnast Oleg Stepko won the gold medal in parallel bars event at the FIG World Challenge Cup in Artistic Gymnastics, held in Portugal June 23-26.
He scored 15.800 points in parallel bars event.
Stepko, advancing to the floor exercises and rings finals, ranked the seventh in both events.
Azerbaijani gymnast Petro Pakhnyuk, who also advanced to the parallel bars finals, ranked the fifth.
Stepko will represent Azerbaijan in the Rio 2016 Summer Olympics in August.
