Gabriel Mini, driving for the PREMA Racing team, collided with the barriers mid-race.
The Formula 1 Azerbaijan Grand Prix began on September 13, with the main race set to take place today, where the winners of both the Formula 1 and Formula 2 races will be decided.
The Formula 1 Azerbaijan Grand Prix has been held annually in Baku since 2017.
