The Azerbaijani Health Ministry conducts preventive and anti-epidemic work in the Salyan region, Trend reports referring to a news release spread by the Ministry on Monday.
On 3 March Nabat Asgarova, born in 1986, who was hospitalized with diagnosis of pneumonia, died in the Dayikand village, Salyan region. Preliminary analysis did not show any signs of bird flu. In accordance with the message, no new people were registered with symptoms of bird flu.
Despite it, the analysis will be sent to laboratory for repeated research. The specialists of the Ministry are in the Salyan region to conduct research.
The Ministry has already hospitalized 8 people, including, 7 placed in the scientific research institute of lung diseases, 1 - Baku hospital 7. The state of two patients is estimated as medium-grave, others - normal.
