By Sadraddin Aghjayev – Trend:

Azerbaijan’s PaySis company, the legal owner of the E-PUL payment system, is working on the implementation of a state project in the field of P2P (transfer of money from card to card) together with the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA), the company’s General Director Samir Nasibov told Trend on Aug.11.

According to Nasibov, PaySis is the only non-banking organization in Azerbaijan, which is a strategic partner of the CBA in this area.

He also said that the process of transformation of traditional payments into a non-cash form is actively underway in Azerbaijan.

“Entrepreneurs need a reliable partner who will ensure not only a continuous process of accepting payments, but also the security of payments, as well as a wide range of payment instruments for consumers,” the company’s official noted. “In the first half of 2021, PaySis, with its innovative platform for E-PUL online payments, connected more than 50 new services. To date, the number of services offered on the platform has exceeded 250.”

He stressed that more new players increasingly appear in the digital market of Azerbaijan. At the same time, the E-PUL platform shows a growth in the number of payments due to the constant introduction of innovations and a proven sales model which is working effectively and continues to show positive dynamics.
