BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 14. The revenues from mandatory state social insurance contributions in Azerbaijan amounted to 1.47 billion manat ($865.2 million) in the first three months of 2022, having increased by 17 percent, or 152.1 million manat ($89.5 million) compared to the same period in 2021, the State Tax Service under the Ministry of Economy told Trend.
According to the agency, the income projection was overfulfilled by 86.6 million manat ($50.9 million).
As of April 1, 2022, the number of labor contracts concluded in the non-state non-oil sector reached 779,476, up by 239,554 compared to the beginning of 2019, when reforms were launched to ensuring transparency in labor relations.
The income from unemployment insurance premiums grew by 16.4 percent compared to the same period in 2021 and totaled 35.3 million manat ($20.7 million). The forecast was fulfilled by 112.3 percent.
Revenues from non-budgetary organizations increased by 18.1 percent, settling at 25.7 million manat ($15.1 million). The revenue outlook was implemented by 122.5 percent.
